Goal #36

Try five things I've hated since childhood.

#1: Grapefruit.

I really wanted to try grapefruit because I know the health benefits of it, and really really wanted to like it. I decided to try it at breakfast this morning.


Turns out:

I still hate it. I really wanted to like it too, I just can't eat it.


It isn't Joshua's favorite either, but he ate way more than I did.


Yuck.

  1. The trick to grapefruit (the ONLY way I can eat it) is to slice it like you did and pour like a tablespoon of sugar on it. If you didn't already and you want another go at your goal, try it and you might like it! Great to see you the other day....

  4. It's so bitter. It takes okay while you're eating it, but the aftertaste is what kills me.
