Learn More About Me

more about me

My name is Angela, but it's Angi if we're friends (which obviously we are), and after you've known me three or four days you'll just call me Ang. I am a twenty-something married girl, who is incredibly happy (and often sarcastic).

For the past few years we have struggled with infertility. I have PCOS (poly cystic ovaries) in which I was blessed with the laziest ovaries of all time. I won't lie, it is very hard. Infertility is physically, emotionally, and monetarily draining. It causes you to question everything you know about your life, and your faith. This is not a blog about infertility though. I'm not in denial that we are battling it, but I fight so hard to not let it consume my life. I have many other interests that I would rather talk about on here. Occasionally I will bring up infertility, but please be clear: I am not my infertility.

We spent five months waiting for our son to be born, and through domestic infant adoption, we were able to take him home from the hospital at two days old. His name is Isaiah and you'll see lots of him around here.We finalized Isaiah's adoption on August 8, 2013.

I blog about infertility, adoption, and about motherhood at Hellobee.com as Mrs. Polish. Go check me out!

I have a few pet peeves, including but not limited to: misspelling of "definitely", the acronym "FML", and couples who sit on the same side of the booth when the other side is empty.

My incredibly wonderful husband Joshua and I met in elementary school, became friends in middle school (even though I didn't invite him to my party in the 7th grade), and started dating in high school. We have been together quite a while for a couple our age, and it has been a fantastic journey so far to watch our relationship grow. I wouldn't want to live it with anyone else.

I love talking to people, so if you want to, feel free to leave me a comment, or send me an email (everydaymattersblog(at)gmail(dot)com).

This is us.
