Stirrin' It Up

Stir fry for dinner tonight.
Nothing fancy, but it was good.

What did you have for dinner?

He Loves Me

Amico loves me so much he couldn't keep the smile off his face.

Heat Wave

We're experiencing a late summer heat wave...so my fam got the pool out. :)
I love my brothers.

Dot

I first heard about Dot at work, and now I think it is hilarious. Check out these videos. There are a bunch more on You Tube.

Candy!

I saw this at Meijer the other day and it made me happy.
I love candy :)

Summer Haul

I am so happy that it is finally tomato season. My Nanny plants the most awesome garden and I love it when she provides for the whole fam. She grows way more than she would ever eat, so we get pretty well supplied.

Meg and I went to Meijer the other day to look at produce. I'm in love with it. I thought these were gorgeous.

I got some little baby grapes today. Aren't they cute?
We went to a cookout so I just took a bowl of mixed fruit. From bottom to top: grapes, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and cantaloupe.
It was delicious.

My Morning Commute

They're finally taking the scaffolding down from the courthouse and I realized how pretty it was this morning waiting for my walk signal.

And I get to see some pretty cool sunrises from the end of our driveway. I'm definitely a morning person, so I'm glad I can appreciate this.

This Is The Thanks I Get

I do so much to keep us organized...and this is the thanks I get. Josh makes a joke out of my calendar. I put really important stuff on there and now I'm not going to know what the days will be that week.
Just kidding. I thought it was pretty funny.

Summer Salads

Salads rock. We were supposed to have dinner at a friends house tonight but it fell through. The original plan was that we were going to bring the Caesar salad, but since we weren't going I made it anyway for us.
I love salad. Don't you?

Weekend Recap

Yesterday was a busy rough day. We got up early (9:00), had to go to breakfast with Josh's family (delicious), had to come home and nap (wonderful), went to lunch with my parents for their anniversary (yum), had to come home and nap (wonderful), went to Ashley's graduation party (wonderful food), and then went to the lake.

Here is a lesson in boy scouting. If the wood is too wet to build a fire, use a torch.

And Now A Message From Ironman:

I hope you're all having a great weekend.

Happy Anniversary!

To my parents! Today is their 28th wedding anniversary, so we went out to celebrate with lunch.

I made cookies for them last night.
And we ate them for dessert.
How to use a camera:

Meijer Madness

I went to Meijer yesterday. I really like that place. I looove this chair. Isn't it so cute?
And their clearance section always rocks. I got an Essie nail polish for $3.99. I got the one all the way on the left.

Cantaloupe

Another thing I love about summer.

Birthday Boys

My brothers have birthdays close together, so they usually celebrate with one party.

William likes Woody, and Dillian likes Buzz Lightyear.

The peaceful world of Chuckie Cheese.
Dillian is five.
William is six.
Will got an Iron Man helmet for his birthday. It was funny.
They both start kindergarten on Monday!

Breakfast

Samantha's Pancakes in Angola, Indiana has good breakfast. All ten pounds of it.

Rural King Rocks, Part Two

I want these boots more than I could ever tell you.
I have a pair though that I got at the Tractor Store a few years ago...however, mine have a small leak in the right foot. I know I should fix it, but those are too cute.

Rural King Rocks

I've mentioned before how much I love going to the Rural King when we're at the lake.

Last weekend we went to look at the bunnies and I picked this one out. I really want it, but truly have no idea what I'd do with it. My boss suggested I name it Stu. The one I want in in the front.
Aren't they so cute??
And the chicks.

Lovely Lake Weekend

Last weekend we went to my brothers birthday party, and then hightailed it out of Chuckie Cheese and headed for the quietness of the lake. We went to a friend's lake cottage around 8:00 and had a nice late evening boat ride.

It was so much fun. The sky was beautiful. I can't wait to go back.

Would You Eat This?

Joshua would, and did. After our late night boat ride we went to a local restaurant and Josh and JoElyn got oysters on a half shell. Raw.
No thank you.
