Megan and I saw this tree tonight at Jefferson Pointe. They put it up inside the fountain. It's so pretty.

I'm finishing up the painting tomorrow and then the new stove will be delivered Tuesday. I'll have full before and after pictures then, and a billion food photos because I'm already making a list of what I'm going to bake.

I Can't Stop Making Things
Yesterday I made a German Chocolate Cake for my dad, and Chicken Parmesan.
Tonight I made calzones for dinner, banana pudding for dessert, and truffles for fun.
Yes, TRUFFLES!
MIX cream cheese and 3 cups cookie crumbs until well blended.
SHAPE into 48 (1-inch) balls. Dip in melted chocolate; place on waxed paper-covered baking sheet. Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs.
REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.

Unreal.
I have quite a few thoughts about this video.
1. Cats are crazy. Literally crazy.
2. STOP VIDEO TAPING AND GET YOUR KIDS AWAY FROM THE LIVE ALLIGATORS. Idiots.
yeah, that is really all I've got.

Netflix
I would like to say, Netflix has made me a loser. One of my coworkers has been telling me about Netflix for a month or so, and I never really thought it would be something I'd try. I knew I could get it through the Playstation 3 and decided I didn't need it because Playstation offers the Playstation Store. You can rent movies on there. However, they're about $3 each. Once I started thinking about it, I realized how it would be a much better deal. If you have a Playstation 3, XBox, or Wii you can install the program to run Netflix. They have tons of stuff streaming so you can watch instantly. No downloading movies or shows. What is really cool is they have television seasons so we've watched the entire Office series in a week.
Like I said, losers.
So what is awesome is that we get unlimited instant viewing, and if they don't have what you want they'll mail it to you. You don't have to use stamps or anything. Your DVDs come in one business day. And I really don't have anything bad to say about it.
Go on their website and check out all you can get. Its awesome.

Coke Zero
I can't lie. A few years ago, I tried Coke Zero. I didn't care for it at first, but eventually got hooked. I even put it on one of my Friday Favorites posts.
I was on the Health & Fitness board of the Nest and someone was talking about how bad artificial sweeteners are for you. I blew it off, and if that person reads this blog, I want to apologize.
I thought I was sick for almost two months. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. I had a bad bad headache for two months, along with a stomach ache, and fatigue.
I was trying to go through everything I was eating and doing to see if something was wrong with me. I was debating with myself about going to the doctor. I wanted to go because I wanted to feel better, but I knew if I went my doctor wouldn't be able to tell me anything. I had such broad symptoms that I knew it would be one of those, "watch your diet" or "maybe you have allergies". For about two weeks I was back and forth discussing it with Josh whether I should go or not.
I didn't really decide not to go, I just kind of didn't go.
I was sitting at my desk having lunch one day. I had noticed that my headache wasn't too bad. After lunch, my headache was back full force. I decided to do a little experiment right then. I was going to see what happened if I quit Coke Zero. I also spent a productive afternoon on Google trying to see if my suspicions were correct. After an extensive research project, I decided I had to be correct. I stopped drinking Coke Zero and my symptoms went away.
I think the big bad culprit of my issues was aspartame.
If you're interested in reading some about it, you can Google it too. I found a lot of contradicting articles. Half of the world says its ok for you, and the other half says no.

Creamy Baked Ziti
I am in love with pasta. If I weren't already married to the most wonderful husband in the world, I might marry it.
I made this a few weeks ago, and it was amazing. Josh isn't a huge pasta fan so he wasn't so crazy about it, but me and Megan did.

Goal 36
Try five things I've hated since childhood. I've already tried grapefruit, hot chocolate, and orange juice. I was planning to use one of those things as listening to Prince music, but I keep forgetting to do it. I hated Prince when I was younger. Absolutely hated.
I decided I was going to drink tea. I don't really know why I decided to, since I've hated it my entire life. My family isn't from the south, per say, but they're from south of where I'm from. Kind of in the way that Indiana is the south to Michigan. Everyone in my family loves tea. Sweet tea, hot tea, iced tea, sun tea, and all of a sudden I'm like the Bubba Gump of tea drinkers.I've tried all of them, and always took one sip and never finished it.
So if you're confused about why I would decide to force myself to drink it, we're in the same boat. I don't know why I've decided to drink it, but I am. I used my Panera rewards card to get a free cup of tea the other day, and I didn't hate it. I also didn't love it, but it wasn't awful.
This is my cup of tea. I got Earl Greyer, and with 74 packets of Splenda, it wasn't bad.
Yesterday I got Tazo Orange Blossom from Starbucks.
I actually liked this one. I liked it much better than what I got at Panera.
This morning I got up and found this in our cabinet.
This one was pretty good too. I think I might be a tea drinker now.
