Your risk for depression could be 42 to 51 percent lower if you follow a Mediterranean diet, according to a recent study at the University of Navarra, in Pamplona, Spain. The daily intake of fish, vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts, and olive oil may lead to improved brain funtion and greater resilience to day-to-day stress.
