Where Do They Get These People?

I think that magazines purposely go out and find stupid people and ask them questions. This one is from People.com.

Pete Wentz Boasts Baby Bronx Is Like Christopher Columbus.

"It's been less than a month since wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz gave birth to Bronx Mowgli, but Pete Wentz says their baby boy is already making some groundbreaking discoveries.

"Every time I see my son, it looks like he's landing on the moon and discovering new rocks and stuff," he tells PEOPLE. "I mean, every time he looks at his hand, it's like he's Christopher Columbus making it across the ocean. It's pretty awesome."

The Fall Out Boy bassist, 29, took a time-out from daddy duty Tuesday night to debut his art exhibition, a collaboration with good pal Travis McCoy entitled "Without You I'm Not Me."

So, has Wentz created any artwork to hang near Bronx's bassinet? "No – I don't think it's appropriate for the nursery," he said. "I'm not the kind of person that's going to push something on my kid. If he decides to go, 'Hey dad, why don't you draw this for me or play this for me,' that would be cool."

McCoy, the Gym Class Heroes frontman, has been named godfather – and he's already started spoiling the newborn. "I got him his first pair of Jordans," he said. "That's just the beginning!"

As for the baby's rather unusual moniker, McCoy wasn't sure of the inspiration. But, he said, "Bronx is just a hard-a-- name."

"I'm amazing with the kid," McCoy bragged, adding that he and girlfriend Katy Perry (of "I Kissed a Girl" fame) are already suffering from baby fever.

"When I passed Bronx off to her, we both looked at each other," he said, recalling a recent visit. "Any young couple in love around another young couple in love, it's inevitable that you're going to get that spirit."

The artwork – ranging in price from $600 to $4,000 – is on display at Gallery 1988 in L.A. and the show benefited Invisible Children."

Really?? Like Christopher Columbus, huh? WTF. Some people shouldn't talk. And the art show benefited "Invisible Children"?? I'm gonna have to look that up and hope that it isn't as ridiculous as it sounds...
