My parents got us this gardening set for our second anniversary. Josh is going to get lots of use out of it. Yesterday I decided that I was going to do some yard work.
More specifically I was going to make it look like someone actually cares about our house, and get it looking nice.
It took me about three hours to get all this landscaping carpet down. I ran out of pins and had to end up using sticks.
Right now, it doesn't look like much, but soon we're going to fill it in with something (insert your suggestions in the comment box, please!).
I'm super glad this is done.
My dad gave me the landscape carpet, so I didn't have to pay for that. Thankfully there was enough to get this whole planter done. I figured I would run out.
The only cost we've incurred so far is the extra garden staples I picked up at Menards.

$4.44
This amount is going to go much higher once we find something to do with this space.
