It's Peony Time

Peonies are my favorite flowers. I was lucky enough to move in and have a wonderful peony bush already planted.

My great grandma had a peony bush at her home when I was younger. She always told me that ants crawl all over the buds in order to make them open. Now that I'm older and think about it, I wonder how true that is, but either way, the buds always have ants crawling everywhere.
