The Green Smoothie

Megan and I were in the car the other day and she mentioned that she saw this recipe for a green smoothie made by Snack Girl.

The only ingredients:
1 cup kale (pull off of stalk into smaller pieces)
1 cup mixed frozen berries
1/2 banana
1 cup water
Really. That is all that is in it.
I let the blender run for quite a while to make sure that it was all chopped up. I didn't want to risk a gulp full of kale.
This is actually, by far, my favorite smoothie I've ever made. Whenever I do it, I end up with big chunks, or its too cold, or too thick. (Josh, I know you just said, "that's what she said").

You really can't taste the kale. I think it tastes most like bananas, but either way, it is delicious. I am so excited about how delightful and easy this is. Josh even liked it. The man who will only eat veggies smothered in cheese.

If you're on Weight Watchers, this is ZERO points. Look at that.
Here is the nutrition:
132 calories, 1.1 g fat, 31.2 g carbohydrates, 3.8 g protein, 5.8 g fiber, 31 mg sodium, 0 PointsPlus

It doesn't get much better than that.
