So now, we have our very own house, complete with our very own squirrel. Our squirrel is special though, he doesn't have a tail...that's how I know we only have one. He's a busy guy though. Lately he's been taking the crab apples off the trees and running around with them. It's hilarious to watch because the apples are bigger than his head. I've been trying to get a good picture of him, but he's so small, and usually so far away from me. Today, I was laying out in the hammock and I swear he threw an apple down at me.
I was at my parents on Saturday, and I was telling my dad about the squirrel running around with the apples in his mouth, because my dad likes animals like I do. I was telling him about this first picture. I went over to the kitchen window and saw him with the apple in his mouth, he was pretty close to it so I was trying to get a picture, but he saw me and ran over to the tree and hung upside down looking at me with the apple in his mouth. You really can't see him in the picture, but it wasn't hanging, he was like laying upside down against the tree but hanging is a good word for it. My brother, Dillian, got instantly defensive and said "No, Angi, only bats can hang upside down." They really are smarter than I think.
