This is Indiana

So I think that acting like a hillbilly occasionally should be excused. I don't use up my hillbilly passes like a lot of Hoosiers do, so every once in a while I decide to cash one in.

I don't own a paper shredder. It would be convenient for me to have one, but I don't. I don't want to spend the money, and frankly I don't think home shredders do all that great of a job. We have one at work that does about a billion pages at once, and I don't think I could ever be satisfied with shredding three sheets at a time.

We have been talking about getting a fire pit for a long time. Like over a year. I wanted to do the whole bricks in the ground type thing, but we have dogs in our back yard, and I couldn't figure out where to put it that we would want to sit at all the time...so the solution is:

The day after we found this one, I decided to go through my black box (important papers) and shred the older stuff that I don't need any more to make room for the newer stuff. My stack ended up being way bigger than I anticipated, and since we now have a fire pit, I decided to burn it.

I used my new fire pit to shred my bills.
And it was fun.
