What the World Eats

Josh and I were talking about how we feel that nutrition should be a part of all curriculum in schools, at least as a serious subject in health. He brought up this article he saw a while ago and I thought it was really interesting. If you want to see the original slide show with all the different photos (I'm not posting them all), click here.

In Bhutan, they spend around $5 on food per week, and feed all of those people.
In Chad, they live on $1 per week.
In Ecuador, $31 per week.
Look at all of those people this feeds!
I could so be Italian, look at all that bread!
And the United States. Yum, pizza and chips. You've gotta love America.
