New Find

I was very disappointed when I realized that my Quizno's (yes, it was mine) went out of business. The other day I was driving and noticed that there was a new place, and it looked like it may have been a healthy restaurant. I was starving tonight when I got home from work (like always) and for some reason (because we don't have a microwave) I didn't heat anything up, and I didn't really feel like cooking either. So I sat down and started reading through some past postings looking for a recipe. Anyway, I came across a recipe for a really yummy salad I made a while ago, and decided I wanted a salad. We don't have anything in the house, so I would have to go to the store. I am waiting for Josh to get home from the Y so we can go to the store and get a new microwave, so I didn't want to go to the store twice. This has become a long story where one isn't necessary. So I went to this new place by where my Quizno's used to be. It's called House of Greens. Typically I have no problem advertising local businesses, but I'm having a hard time with this one (because I can't find anything on the internet about it). I went in and it looked like a really nice place, the people were friendly and the atmosphere was great. I couldn't help but notice that there were advertisements for "Waiter on the Way" everywhere. (If you're not from the Fort Wayne area, Waiter on the Way is a place you call to go to restaurants and pick up food and deliver it for you. It's like a pizza delivery, but they go to a lot of different restaurants.) Absolutely everywhere. I got my food and went to the cash register. I was asking the lady if this was just a Fort Wayne thing. She told me that it was and this was their first location. She seemed really excited about it, so I asked if she was the owner. She said no and acted a little weird about it, and told me she was just the manager. So then I got home and ate my salad. It was really good, I'll probably go back. Just now I Googled it to see if I could find the logo to put on this post...the only link that matched was the link to the Waiter on the Way site. I'm pretty sure my old boss owns the place. I think its great that Fort Wayne has a healthy fast food place. So you should check it out. It was a bit expensive, so I probably won't ge often, but it works when I don't feel like cooking, and it keeps me eating healthy. :)
