Time For Change

As we're growing up, I'm noticing more and more things that I've held on to since my teens. When I lived with my parents I had a water bed. I'm so serious, it was awful. When I got my first real law office job I decided to purchase a new bed (there is a hint on how boring I've always been...I was 17 years old and instead of using money to do cool stuff, I bought a bed.) That bed is still our current bed. I've been wanting to update it with one I've picked out from IKEA, but haven't. It works. It is nice.

I'm actually glad we haven't gotten the bed from IKEA because I think my tastes are changing and I'd rather have a bed without a foot board. But that is another post all together.

Another side note, I've been a bad dog parent. I let Amico on the bed with me, which is something I swore I would never do. Its just that, he's so good when he's up there. He just sleeps. It isn't a good idea. For what its worth, I still don't let him on the living room furniture. It was pretty evident that after a few weeks, he was wreaking havoc on our comforter. I made an executive decision to spend my book store money on a new bed set. It has been a long time coming.

The before:

The after:
You can make this bedroom yours! Everything on the bed came in one bag for under $40 at Wal-Mart. There is my plug of the day.
